Over the weekend, my school had their Homecoming Football game. I seriously didn't even think that this type of thing existed! I thought it was just like a stereotypical thing that was always shown in movies. Well guess what? It's not. This game is basically the football game that takes place against our rival school and was actually a ton of fun to go to! Everyone got t-shirts to wear supporting our school and they had a tailgate party (where they hand out free hot dogs, pop, and popcorn). At the half-time, they had a ceremony for their Homecoming Kings, Queens, Princes & Princesses - Yes, they actually select students and crown them. How cool is that?! I totally felt like I was in the middle of a movie scene. It was awesome! After the game, they were supposed to have fireworks and I was really pumped for that. However, it was SOOO windy that they had to cancel them because apparently it would be a safety hazard? haha yeah. So, the football was actually really fun and we ended up demolishing the other team: 30 - 7...I guess overall you can say that that was a successful night :)
I seriously can't believe that today is only Monday..or I guess technically Tuesday now? Well I have a ton of homework, a presentation, and two tests this week, so I'm slightly freaking out. And by slightly, I mean A LOT! It's terrible!! But once this week is done, I'm so ready for the weekend. My roommates and are I going out to find Halloween costumes (we're going to be the minions from Despicable Me) which will be pretty cool, if I do say so myself.
