February 28th

Today is a special day, can you guess why? Someone else special is having a 19th birthday. Guess who this time? If you guessed Evie then you were correct! Evie we love you and to celebrate your special day we put together some special people who wanted to wish you a happy birthday...

Evie, you are a special person that I adore having in my life. You are a beautiful person that shines like the sun and makes people’s lives brighter. Your taste it movies is magnificent – chick flicks all the way! I know that you can be a strong and wonderful women so keep it up; I’m here when you need me. I have faith that you can handle all that come with being 19 so enjoy it!

Have a wonderful last year as a teenager!

Love,

Rae <3

Happy birthday Evie! Can you believe that we can seriously go to clubs and bars now? I remember fondly when we went to Europe and could buy drinks. Even though I didn't, it was cool to have that power. But with great power comes great responsibility! So party responsibly on this day of days. :D
Have an amazing birthday mah friend – you deserve it!
Lee

Evie,
You're an awesome friend. I'm so glad that I can turn to you when ever I'm blue (well not literally, cause well I'm no Avatar.) Can't wait to start our movie business together!
Miah

We hope you enjoyed all the birthday wishes; have a great day and an amazing year!

Love,

RLM

Way Cooler

Isn't it funny how somethings stick with you over so many years? I just finished baking my traditional rainbow birthday cake, its the cake I've been baking since... well since my ninth birthday when I learned the basic recipe on Zoom but I've since then made it WAY COOLER!
Anyway so this weekend is gonna be AWESOME! Tomorrow is our spectacular party and Sunday is gonna be the Oscars. And I being a HUGE Anne Hathaway fan, is very excited. So yeah all in all very much looking forward to the party.
Oh so my question is, what did you do to celebrate (or not) the Oscars? Also how'd you do with your guess all those weeks ago? For this round copy the whole list into your blog, but just everything but your choice and the winner, then maybe a total like 1/24? Yeah demanding question!
OK so today I went shopping and gots some new shirts from Joe Fresh, its actually a really good clothing line, even though its in the middle of a grocery store. The clothes are really nice and OMG cheap! Other then that nothing else to exciting happened today, other then baking, shopping and homework.
Anyways see you three tomorrow! Off to cook dinner (I've promised my parents that when ever I'm on break I'll cook at least 1 meal.)
Wow. Another short Miah Blog!!!!

P.S. So drinking with my aunt failed, I woke up with a headache and took a Tylenol :/

Foreign hotties are hot ;D

Let me just start this blog off by saying I am really on the ball! I mean this is like the fourth week in a row that I blogged on time, am I right? Actually don't tell me if I'm right or not, ignorance is bliss. I'd like to think that I'm getting better at this whole write-a-blog-every-Thursday thing. You'd think I'd be pro by now cuz we've been doing it for a while, almost a year. But no, it pretty much just depends on my mood and what happens during the day and such.
So. It's reading week! I love the holidays, even ones as casual as reading week; everyone is home, I have so many friends to hang out with, even my brother spends more time with me! It's just lovely all around. And OH MAN am I ever looking forward to the party this sat. It's gonna be sick! There are so many people going and I know, like, ALL of them :D Woo Hoo am I right? :P

Okay, now for my dream date...I have to admit I've got a couple of ideas floating around and they've been floating around for a while now. Some of them are all passionate but then others are way more chills and casual. And yea I'm embarrassed about the passionate ones cuz they can be kinda lame... and anyways, I can't decide if I'd be able to handle the whole passion thing. I mean, I could see myself not being able to take the relationship or the guy, no doubt spouting romantic clichés right and left, seriously. What if he said something super romantic and I laugh in his face?? Or he gets all dramatic like "Let's run away together?" and I'm all "Woah there buddy! Put on the breaks!"?? Talk about uncomfortable situations. I can hear the awkward silence now, after some poor guy had 'bared his soul' or something :P.
Right, answer the question Evie, stop babbling.

On my dream date, I'd want to be really attracted to the guy but I'd also want to have a really satisfying conversation with him. AND I'd give some leeway with the whole good looks thing if we had a really good conversation. Like we connected and it meant something. That's important. Other than that, I'd just want to laugh a bunch, maybe see a really good movie (I tend to relax more when I watch a movie, I get really into them :P) or just do something that would be fun for both of us like...i dunno, go carting or wtvr. Yea....basically it could be anything as long as I laugh, enjoy myself and feel like we connected.
Hahha.....not very interesting when I put it like that eh? Alright well I guess something super romantic in my mind is meeting some hottie in a foreign country (Spain, France, England, Rome, take your pick :P) and it'd be like love/like at first sight, he'd drive me around on his vespa (yea I actually know someone who had that happen to them :P), we'd end up either in a cafe or walking along beautiful moonlight, cobblestone streets just talking...about stuff...and obvi there'd be a steamy kiss in there somewhere ;D

*Sigh. I have seen way too many chick flicks involving foreign hotties, Room With A View anyone? Not that I've seen the movie, just read the book. But it was GOOD. Those accents just get me every time! And those tanned arms...maybe not in England but in Spain at least.

Well, that's like, super unlikely to happen cuz I live in Canada and not in, you know, another country. Oh well, reality's gotta kick in sometime :P And you know, if some random guy came up to me while I was on vacay I would be seriously freaked out and probably panic and run away. Yea... () <--bubble * <---burst

That's all for now!

Evie :D

P.S. Kay, I just wanna say that having re-read this I realize I sound a little shallow because I keep talking about hot guys (I even mention them in the title of the blog :P) but let me remind you that we are talking about DREAM dates here, as in the absolute perfect date you could possibly imagine. And for me that includes some biceps and a nice smile :D

Randomness

Aaach! OMG that blog, fantastic! So touching!!!!!
So, I am now officially 19, and still have yet to have alcohol. I was at my grand parents in Montreal this weekend, and well they're so old that they don't drink so yeah... also because I don't have my license, I forgot my passport, and have no other form of government ID I couldn't even order the one time that we went out for food. Well we went out the night before, and in Quebec I could've ordered still being 18, but I wanted to wait.
Anywho
Today I'm going out with my aunt and cousin, and we're ordering Cocktails, so I'll have my first legal drink! I am a little nervous about it though. Its just cause like I've said before I'm not a huge flavoury drinker and I'm allergic to a lot of fruits, I'm just worried I REALLY won't like it. Then later tonight gonna see Sloan, (and other people, but I haven't seen her in a while... so more excited for her, not gonna lie) so that's supper exciting!
Wow, short blog!
OK so my dream-- hold on gonna read the question again.

-- OK I'm back.
My dream romantic date, well it would be... umm... oh I know!
OK, so my dream romantic date would be in New York... or downtown... or London... or Paris... haha OK so the downtown of a major city. At night, spring or summer (every other day!!! sorry, listening to Spring Awakening, moving on...) so its not too hot, but not too cold, just right temperature. And we'd go out for dinner (or stay home for dinner, not picky in that regard) then just wander the street talking the whole time about real stuff. By real stuff I mean, well I don't really know but stuff that would be so interesting that there would never be a lull in conversation. Also that stuff would be so interesting that not one person would be in control, do you get what I mean? Like the convo would be a evenly controlled. Weird, huh? For someone who isn't a huge talker, my dream date would be a relaxed pressure free perfect conversation.
OK, well I gotta do a bit of homework before I go out, sorry for the randomness.

SLEEP!

Well, with no school today I did a lot of catching up on sleep so this will be short. Perfect romantic date... I don’t really know. It would have to involve something fun and something that we would both like. Other than that I’m not too picky or opinionated. Well this week while most people are on reading week I will be at school but come Friday night I have my reading week starting off with an awesome party on Saturday night!

Till next time,

Rae <3

February 21st

Two special days in a row??? Yup! someone else special is having a 19th birthday. Can you guess who this time? If you guessed Lee then you were correct! Lee in honour of your special day we got together 10 of the best quotes (in our opinion) from one of your favourite people; George Harrison.

10 Wonderful things that George Harrison has said:

1. All the world is birthday cake, so take a piece, but not too much.

2. I wanted to be successful, not famous.

3. I'm a tidy sort of bloke. I don't like chaos. I kept records in the record rack, tea in the tea caddy, and pot in the pot box.

4. With our love, we could save the world.

5. As long as you hate, there will be people to hate.

6. You've got as many lives as you like, and more, even ones you don't want.

7. Why live in the past? Be here now

8. Try to realize it's all within yourself no one else can make you change, and to see you're only very small and life flows on within you and without you.

9. When you've seen beyond yourself, then you may find, peace of mind is waiting there.

10. Love one another.

Lee, you are wonderful human being. You are one of the funniest people I know and most of the time you don’t even try. Knowing you for the past five years has been a gift that keeps giving. You are a truly independent woman that knows how to handle herself and I admire that in you. I wish you luck with all that come with being 19 but I know you can handle it because your head is screwed on straight.

Have a wonderful last year as a teenager!

Love,

Rae <3

Lee, my friend, my confidant, my sister? (well maybe not blood related...)
Isn't it just weird that 19 is the next number? We're already saying goodbye to 18! I'm still getting over 17! They're like past lovers that left too soon.....hahah okay so not LOVERS but you get the picture; I'm weirded out :P I hope that this next year is full of fun and awesome memories to come, and that finally turning 19!! is super special for you. I'm so glad that we're friends so we get to do this together!! Bar hopping anyone?
Lots of Love
Evie <3

Lee, it’s hard to believe that you're now 19! What’s even crazier is that we were born at the same hospital all those 19 years ago!!! You're an amazing person and an awesome friend, and you've changed the day after my birthday as a day of sorrow to a day of excitement!

Love Ya!

Miah

Hope you enjoyed the list. Have an amazing day and a wonderful year!

Love,

REM
