Between chem, bio, math, and my other science courses, it's been hard to fit in time for things like showering or working out. Not ideal, but at least my work was mundane enough today that I got to watch some TV. Glee! Basketball! Parenthood!
Evie, your question is a pretty cool one this week. I have a fairly positive opinion of drinking in moderation. For years I was the awkward one out, not drinking, and it felt kind of lame. I think I was afraid of drinking, like I wasn't really allowed. But at 18 years of age, though not legally allowed to buy alcohol, I've become pretty comfortable with having a few drinks.
Alcohol isn't some magical elixir that transforms you into a social butterfly, but for me it's just sort of helped loosen me up to talk to more people and enjoy myself more. And I'm talking about a couple shots and a glass of beer; nothing too crazy. The first time I really drank, I could still do integration in my head – I was pretty with it. The next time… well I couldn't integrate, but I could probably still do some easy differentiation. So I was still there, but I was just kind of a more fun less think-y version of me.
Ok, now it's time to do something fun… like shower haha.
Seeeeeee you guys!
