Oh-eM-GLEE!!!!!

Hey Guys!
Ok, so lets get a blogging!
Umm. I'm tired so yeah, it makes sense to be doing this instead of bed... right? I feel like I always complain about sleep.
Any who...
Couple of things.
1. I gots me the first Harry Potter Ultimate Collectors Blu-ray set, and OMG it’s amazing! Slightly ridiculous, but totally worth it even though the price was kind of steep. Cause you see being Canadian, and in Canada (and the rest of the English world) the first Harry Potter book/ movie is the Philosophers Stone, not Sorcerer’s Stone. Now I wanted the one I grew up watching, and well on Amazon I would've had to pay $135 dollars for the last copy, but I got it at HMV for their lowered price of $50.99, and luckily I had left over money from a gift card from last year so I ended up paying less then half. But yeah, its awesome, 7 extra minutes of bonus little scenes and amazing behind the scenes stuff which is why I bought it and plan on getting the others. The only down side is that it comes with a bonus digital download but that expired, so yeah boo. Who knew they expired?
2. Oh-eM-GLEE!!!!!!!!! Something that I feel as though I have failed at mentioning on this blog, not only am I a Potterhead, a Nerdfighter, a Guilty One, but I am also a massive Gleek. Possibly more so then the other three things that I am. (Which is weird cause I never mentioned it before... but let me tell you I am a Gleek.) I introduced the show to pretty much everyone I know, people constantly ask me for updates, and I am obsessed. Being the musical theatre lover that I am, Glee was pretty much a god sent. Any who I loved the last two episodes sooooo much, and I am super excited for next week’s episode. But that being said the most exciting thing that happened in Glee land today was the fact that the tour is COMING TO TORONTO!!!!! And cause I live so close to there I am 90% going (the only way I'm not is if I can't get tickets) it was actually the best news of the day! I've been having a really rough couple of days, issues at home and well being ditched the other day. I'm not gonna go into detail about the whole home stuff... but...
Share time share time its share time!
Ok, so Mondays I have a lecture and then 2 hours later I have the tutorial for that lecture. Now for the first couple of weeks (weeks 1-3) I was planning on sitting with this girl I met in my English class last semester cause she seemed nice and we got along. We kept missing each other, until finally week 4 I found her. But until that point, it was weird because after the lecture she'd be nowhere to be found. And so I thought, ok, she's probably trying to avoid me... if we don't sit together this week I won't bother anymore. But we sat together week 4, and hung out at the mall for 2 hours near school and I enjoyed myself. Yes slightly awkward, but that’s cause we're just learning about each other. I mean I learned she loves Glee, and her favourite is Kevin McHale, which is also mine! Then there’s this pass Monday... dun dun duuuuun. Everything is fine, I get there early and we talk for a little bit about Glee's super bowl episode and things we hear are coming up, also about the creepiness of wax figures... don't ask. Class starts and then there’s an awkward technical difficulty and I ask her something else about Glee. And then class resumes. But at the 20 minutes left mark she starts to pack up, we were watching short films then discussing them so at the 10-minute mark I pack up too. While waiting for the class to wrap up, I realize I put my wallet in the wrong easily accessible pocket, so I go to move it. As I do so, my prof ends the class and she take off. Like as fast as Edward Cullen takes off... now I've seen her in sun light and she doesn’t look like a bad kindergarten project gone awful so I knew she wasn't a vampire. But I think ok, well maybe she realized I'm not with her but she's down stairs waiting. But nope, gone as fast as you can say Quidditch. Yeah... kinda upsetting, especially cause I was the most emotional Monday and needed a distraction. But if she's such a bitch that she can't bother to just lie to me why she vanished on Facebook then why bother eh?
So Evie your question I think is definitely a fan favourite. I'm very much like those who've spoken-- or rather written before me in that I don't see the point in drinking to get drunk, and I'm all about moderation. Yes I'm still acquainting myself with it, but I don't see it as taboo as I used to. (BTW for any readers out there, in Ontario where we live legal drinking age is 19.) My things with alcohol are two things, first the taste and second the reliability. I'm not much of a pop, fruity, flavory drinker of normal drinks. I really only like water, milk (lactose free of course), and fruit juices that I'm not allergic to, why you ask? Well just because. I prefer things to not burn my throat, so alcohol doesn't really do that... so we're still getting acquainted. Also the reliability, I personally don't relay on alcohol for a good time, or to loosen me up. If I'm in the mood to party I'm in the mood, if I'm not I'm not. Plain and simple. I don't judge those who do relay on it, because well if that’s what makes you comfortable that’s what works. I don’t know, just the way I look at things. I've really only had alcohol twice and felt an effect. Once at prom... yes... I know... I had about half a glass of a vodka/ cranberry mix but was conscious enough to realize I feel tipsy and thus eating and drinking water would be perfect. And again at a Shabbat dinner where the only way to get water was to finish your wine, I had once again about half a glass (or less). I didn't feel tipsy as much as flushed; like I could feel my cheeks go red. So yeah, that’s what I think...
Ok so I think this is long enough now.

P.S. I love drunken people, so fuuuuniiiess!

P.P.S. Sorry for spelling, its now 1 am…

  1. Maybe that girl who "ditched you" just has somewhere that she needs to go to right after class. Don't jump to conclusions so fast.

  2. You're right, I shouldn't jump to conclusions.
