Dream of Californicatiooooonnn!

Well look at me blogging on time for once! Savour it people, this is a rare occasion indeed :P

So everyone is busy with midterms! That sucks :( I almost feel left out because I don't have school...but honestly I don't think I'd be able to handle the stress, it sounds intense. Good Luck to all you guys on whatever tests and projects and midterms you've got left!

My only exciting news this week is that I'm learning the rest of Californication by the Red Hot Chili Peppers on the guitar which we started last week but didn't go through all of it. So now I can veeeeerry slowly play it through - minus the solo :P And I'm also learning Sweet Child of Mine by Guns and Roses but like I don't know the picking or anything just the chords and some strumming but it's still nice to be able to play some familiar songs and stuff :) yay guitar!

Did a bit of Halloween shopping myself. I've actually gone like three separate times each with a different person, and I do have a costume - I'm gonna be a mobster and have a black blazer and a bowler hat and fake cigarettes and a cardboard tommy gun and everything! - but I got another idea it's just I can't find a sparkly dress or top to pull it off. I sort of have this thing for glitter and like sparkly makeup and stuff and so I was thinking why not just wear a bunch of glittery makeup and a sparkly dress and wear a little crown or something and call myself the Queen of Glitter? It's brilliant! Except I've actually looked just about everywhere and can't seem to find a super sparkly dress. It's weird when you think about it, where are all the sequined dresses and tops I always see when I'm NOT looking for them hiding? I mean, I did find some sequined jackets and tops that were pretty epic but they never fit right or they're waaay too expensive. SO, so far I'm still gonna be a mobster but I haven't quite given up on the Glitter Queen idea yet :P Actually the reason I was even thinking about using a different costume is because we're probs going dancing the sat night before Halloween and I'm not sure I want to be wearing a big jacket and bowler hat and be carrying my cardboard tommy gun around with me :P So the search for the sparkly top or dress continues!
