A bit of originality, please!

Hey all, I had the last two days off, in which time I've managed to finish the first season of the new series of Doctor Who. Yay! It was really scary at times, and heartwarming at others.

In completely unrelated news, I'm totally behind on work.

Oh well… who isn't?

Miah, because you asked such penetrating questions, I think I'll just jump right into answering them.

Part One (what I'm most looking forward to in the next Harry Potter): Good question. Snape, of course! I hope that they make a faithful corresponding scene to the chapter in the seventh book that is a Snape-centered flashback. That was by far the best part of the book, in my opinion.

Part Two (a guy thing I feel socially weird about): I thought about my answer to this question, and I've decided to be completely honest. Just as Miah would feel conflicted getting serious with a non-Jew, I would feel conflicted getting serious with a white guy… again. I'm not even kidding. It seems absurd (and racist) but it's more of a feeling than an ideological personal restriction. I have nothing against people, it's just that my first experience dating a white guy was very… I don't know. He fit the stereotype well and it irritated me.
So hey let's change it up and be less racist: I would feel socially weird about dating someone who fit a stereotype really well. Originality is highly valued in our society, and that value has trickled into this little mind of mind.
