Nerd Fighter

Hey Guys!
So its my friday, and so here I blog!
Today was a fine day, I only have one class on Fridays from 12-3 so yeah...
We had Life Drawing today, and that was a load of fun! Strange cause the model is someone I often drew in High School.
Which made me think about High School, and how much I had changed over those four years. I mean I was shyer then shy, awkwarder then awkward and a nerd in denial. But now... well now I'm still shy but confident about being shy, I embrace my awkwardness, and well I'm now a Nerd Fighter, so that explains everything. But seriously I grew so much over those four years at High School, it kind of amazes me, and makes me wonder how much I'll grow, or rather I think the better word is evolve over the remaining four years at University.

Oh, so yesterday I had the WORST period cramps I have ever had. They were so bad, that I came home and missed my afternoon class, oh and my mom for the first time bought menstral tyelnol. Now, I know what you female folk say "oh just suck it up!" well let me tell you on most occasions I do, but as I've gotten older the cramps have gotten worse. Also yesterday was the first time since I was in Grade 7 that I went home because of my period. Which made me think about Middle school, and how important those years were for me, or raher everyone really. So, I will admit middle school was crap, I was misserable my two years spent there. The teachers were all right, but they expected so much from me, and constantly gave me 55-75% because I wasn't "smart" enough for that school. Also they broke us up by music course, and well I was terriable at music, absoluetly terriable and so once again that made me miserable because I wasn't
"musical" enough for that school. And then once again stupid Gym and Pool, I hate sports I don't think that the way Gym and Pool are taught are in anyway a good idea. Like because I can't run 12 laps in 12 minutes I fail that test, yet I'm just as winded as everyone else! So once again I wasn't "sporty" enough for that school. But the thing that I know everyone feels in middle school is the social scene; the Oh- eM-Gee, the evil eyes, the way too soon maturity, the "why are my friends so mean!?!?!" Yep my social life in middle school sucked, and yes I was bullied. My entire class was made up of the "popular kids" I in many classes sat next to the boy everyone (but me) had a crush on, because my teachers thought I could shut him up with my "vibe." The girls in my class would wear their clothes similar to how I wore mine and ask to eachother "would you be my friend if I dressed like this?" I only like about 5 people in that class, and everyone else I wanted to slap and yell at. So, I just wanted to share a story, about my most embarassing and hurtful day in middle school. It day that I went home because of my period, but it wasn't because of cramps but because I had leaked all over my pants. And I disticinctly remember all of those popular kids sitting at the back of my French class whispering and laughing. I didn't have a sweater to tie around my waste so I wore a pink coat until my mom came to give me a change of clothes, but instead seeing the tears in my eyes let me stay home that day. But it was because of those kids that I am who I am, the bullies in my life (and there were plenty, let me tell you) showed me that if I laugh at my self, and if I'm confiedent in my self then I've already beaten them to their game. They also taught me not to follow the crowd and be my own individual, because well who really wants to be a clone? So in many ways middle school was the best and worst years of my life.
