Hey peeps!
So...this is embarrassing, no? Well, actually I'm not embarrassed cuz better late than never! :D
Guess wat? I'm at my cottage!! Guess wat else? I have incredibly fast internet!! But you probably already guessed that one :P
Well I suppose I've had a pretty sweet-ass week. Filled sky high with fun, fun, fun!! Now I could write a humongous entry all about how awesome this week was but I think that it would take not only too much time but like...no one would want to read it cuz it would be ridiculously long. So instead, I will simply name off a bunch of things I love to do up here.
Here goes: sunshine, tennis with my mom and then with my brother's friend, swimming, the Loaches (family friends, I'm friends with their daughter), kayaking, biking into town, renting movies or just getting them on satellite (yea I have satellite, get at me!!), visiting family (including my grandma who's here till some time next week), playing cards, farmer's markets, practicing my driving (only got my G1 unfortunately), going for walks along the shore, boating, watching my brother water-ski (briefly, I was driving and the boat just happened to be going alongside the road :P), beat my brother and his friend at three separate board games that they taught me, mostly cuz they were fighting so much they would just feed me points :P pretty hilarious, and at the end of the day coming inside to a huge dinner and a tasty dessert. *Sigh...the cottage is the best :D
This weekend is gonna be kinda crazy though cuz 15, that's right 15, of my brother's friends are coming up to the cottage. They're like gonna pitch tents on the front lawn cuz they don't all fit in the cottage :P It's actually gonna be crazy. I'm pretty excited :D Also the Fellners are coming up tomorrow, and they are like the partyers or something up here so That's also pretty exciting. And then my cousin comes up on Monday!! And I haven't seen her in forever, so THATS exciting :D Omygoodness. It's gonna be a ridiculous week. And my cottage is gonna be Party Centralll! Oh yea...
K, now I will say OMG Rae I'm so excited for you! I can't believe u'll be in NYC soon :D I hope you have so much fun and that it lives up to all the dreams I know you must've had about it since you were little. Also, I hope you last till the end of you're job, it sounds like waking up early has lost it's charm for you :P
Miah, I guess, thanks for your honesty about our blogs and I kind of agree with you about the whole having nothing to do thing. I definitely will get bored eventually and that's the beauty of it. Right now I don't want to do anything so I won't, but I will eventually get bored of doing nothing so then I will finally want to do something! Make sense? Once I decide I actually want to do something then I'll be excited about it and I will really enjoy it, I won't feel resentful that my parents pushed me into it, or that I felt pressure from like society or whatever. Yea...I'm just gonna stick to what I want to do for now because it makes me happy :D Also I hope you're still enjoying your camping thing. Still working on that farmer's tan? :P
And Lee, it sounds like you're a bit worried about your 20 hours of Life Sciences! That sucks :( But, if it's any consolation, you can always change your mind later! Both my cousin and my uncle went all the way through engineering school before deciding to become a doctor. It's never too late! And you have my FULL support to do whatever you please :D I hope the whole Life Sciences thing works out for you! (ps. I love musicians! and museums! and whatever that third one was...)
And Rae, it's true I have not seen you in forever, and on top of that you leave the day I'm back! How tragic! But unlike Miah I believe in that 'it'll all work out' feeling. Cuz...well it just will :P
