It's only about an hour tho right? Yea, not too bad. I'm sure Miah wants to kill me tho. She's prob at this moment picture her fist crushing my face...graphic no? She can be a violent woman :P
So, wat to talk about, wat to talk about...u guys just heard from me yesterday. Hmmm, I foresee a problem with this two blogs in a row business.
Right, well I am currently at a sleepover (hence the lateness of this blog) with some friends, hanging out chilling. Reuniting with peeps I haven't seen in a while. You know, that's kind of a bad thing about summer.
OH!! Brilliant, I can answer Lee's question now cuz I totally forgot about it yesterday. Right so the thing I dislike about summer is the distance it puts between friends. I spend way more time with friends at school than I do at home. It requires so much effort and time to get in touch with all my friends to organize get togethers, even with such a small group as ours. I mean we haven't even gotten together for weeks...us four I mean. It's so...isolating sometimes. Also I end up spending entirely too much time bitching about my family (like not getting along with them) to...well my family. By the end of the summer I'm wishing I had my own place. With a kitten. I love kittens :D.
What I like about the summer is obviously the sunshine. ****- okay uhhhh Lee just reminded me that she actually said to answer this question in a comment on her blog but since I've already started I'm going to risk her wrath and the others and finish my answer -**** Notice I said sunshine and not the heat, or like, smog or any of those other gross things that are...you know, gross in the summer. But what I really love, like the MOST is the freedom. The utter freedom. I'm lucky enough that my parents don't really care what I do during the summer. No "You need to get a job!" lectures for me :D I just chill and TRY to get together with my friends as often as possible. It's that feeling of waking up and thinking "I don't have to do ANYTHING today..." then letting my head fall back to the pillow for another hour or so. It's lovely, just lovely.
There that's my answer about summer. It can be both fun but sometimes lonely. Or maybe the loneliness is just boredom...quite possible.
Good thing I'm going to my cottage for two weeks! Yea. Unh. It's gonna be gooood :D Boating, swimming, biking, walking, running (if I feel like it :P), baking, water skiing, big dinner parties, drinking, reading in the sun, just laying out in the sun...*sigh...the works man, the works.
Till next week!! (assuming I get internet way up there)
Evie :D
