Green Party wat?

So I did that CBC test thingy too, the one that tells you which political party shares your opinions or whatever, and I got the Green Party :0. Isn't that weird? I kinda thought I'd get the NDP cuz like my mom is a huge supporter and she's talking about them like all the time. Also she's campaigning for them right now for the election coming up. I was gonna vote NDP but now I'm confused. The next closest was NDP so I guess that's good. I was really far away from Liberal though :P I didn't think the NDP party and the Liberal party were so far apart in their views, though I guess they wouldn't be separate parties if their views were so similar. Any who it's sorta made me think. I don't want to be a Green Party supporter, they'll never get it! I mean, the NDP aren't even close and they've been around forever AND they aren't as far left as the NDP. My goodness this is all so confusing! Right now I'm thinking I'll probably vote NDP, but if I'm feeling really worried about Harper getting in then I might vote Liberal, just to make sure you know? I would be genuinely scared if Harper got a majority government. Look what he's already trying to do with a minority! Trying to buy frigging jets and build mega prisons that we don't need. It's a little worrisome :S

ANYways, not too much has been happening on this front. I'm excited that Rae will be hanging with us once again this weekend - Hooray!! And I'll get to see some friends that I haven't seen in months. Also there seem to be a whole lot of birthday parties happening all of the sudden :P So I guess that's nice too.

As for the Friday question, what am I glad I won't have to do because it's summer? I'm glad I won't feel like I have to/want to stay inside all day because the weather is gross and cold. I'm glad I won't freeze my fingers off when I bike to the subway. I'm glad I won't have to worry about what jacket to wear outside, I'll just bring a sweater in case it's breezy! And I'm glad I won't have to take forever tucking my jeans into my boots cuz I'll be wearing shorts so I can just slip on my sandals!
