Miah, good 2-part question about weddings. I don't think I'll watch the royal wedding live, exactly, since I don't really have TV reception at my house. Although I saw on Youtube that they're showing it live, so maybe there.
I'm pretty positive about the royal wedding. I remember when Princess Di was alive and it was sweet having a pretty princess to follow in the news. Maybe Kate (sorry, "Catherine") will help liven up the royal family!
As for my own wedding, I don't think about it very much. Big wedding, small wedding, I have no idea. That's probably because my parents had such a tiny wedding (see photo in my last post – that's like half the wedding party right there haha). I honestly can't see myself having one of those huge weddings with the huge cake and the huge dress and the huge amount of people, DJ, reception, everything like that.
Personally, I've always concerned myself much more with life after the wedding. Married life, family life, those are more what I think about I guess.
But I can't wait to marvel at the ginormous royal wedding! :P
Off-topic, I'm reading "The Handmaid's Tale" by Margaret Atwood. She came to speak at my college, and I bought the book then, for her to sign (and to subsequently read, of course). It's really really interesting! Not much has happened, even though I'm about half-way through, but I can hardly stop reading. Very thought-provoking stuff.
