My parents were in the same class for medical school, so they met each other on the first day. My dad, seeing my mom from the back, thought she had a really nice… back… side. Then she turned around and he thought she was beauutiful. (I think my mom thought my dad was kind of goofy looking?)
They became friends, being committed to other people at the time, and stayed friends for about a year. Then they were single, and started dating each other! Many moons later, my mom asked my paternal grandfather for my dad's hand in marriage. I think she offered 2 cooked chickens as a dowry. (Of course it was a joke, I mean she's not crazy haha…)
As Rae says, the rest is history :P
