Summer Retrospective

We're coming up on Labour Day, and you all know what that means. Summer is at an end! Although autumn technically starts in mid-September, you know it's the sad truth. And what better time for a look back at all the things we've learned? (Haha learning is for school. Rephrase: what better time to reminisce?) So here's a condensed look at summer through Lee's eyes:
  • As Evie says, confidence is key. Fake it till you make it!
  • Having fun isn't a crime. "Plenty of time to be a boring fuck in the grave."
  • Don't cry. (Argue with me if you will, but I like this one!)
  • Friends and family always have your back. Mostly.
  • Always have their back.
  • Your worst enemy can be yourself. (Amirite Evie?) So that takes us back to confidence being the key. Find a way to let yourself know you're awesome!
  • Popular music can be really good too. (Take that, hipsters!) (No it's okay your music still makes me super happy.)
Note: I have this thing about making lists with seven items on them. This stems from this one time when I heard that you can only keep seven things on your mind at one time. Doesn't really make sense, but uh… deal with it.

This summer. Oh this summer.

-Lee

Edit to add: Forgot to ask a Friday question! Oh my! What's your favourite Lady Gaga song or video, and why?
