It's 3:30 am and I feel… I dunno. I can't get to bed, but it's not because I don't want to. Does that make sense?
Evie, I like being the youngest. There's like zero pressure; the kind of pressure that my oldest brother had on him all the time. Pressure to do well in school, to get a job, to be responsible. Though I think gender has something to do with that as well. Tween and teen boys have the reputation of being a bit crazy, so perhaps my older brothers needed some tough love that my sister and I never needed.
My dad's advice: have boys first. (Not that you have much of a say in the matter unless you're adopting!)
I can safely say that I have learned from my siblings' mistakes, and benefitted from their advice greatly. A luxury I would not have if I were the oldest! I suppose being a middle child wouldn't be that bad either. IMO, too much pressure if one is the oldest. So I'm especially interested in what Rae and Miah have to say, as big sisters!
Bye bye,
Lee
