I just got back from my cottage today, after spending the long weekend there. It was a lot of fun! Located in far-away Quebec, it's truly one of my favourite places to be. The sun and stars, campfires, clear lake, canoes, frogs… everything. It's no wonder it's colloquially called P.O.N.C. by my extended family: "Place of No Compulsion".
In other news, I want new frames (as in glasses frames) but my dad's hinting that the ones I want are too expensive. So I'll search for more - for cheaper ones. Oh well. I just don't really want to keep the ones I have now, as I've had them since Grade 10 and grown tired of them. Any suggestions? My tactic has been to try on ones at random, easily eliminating ones that are too big for my face. Which leaves surprisingly few! (Fun fact: my current frames are made for children…)
Rae, I'd love to hear more about your Family Fun Week! Please keep track so you can fill us all in on Monday (or Sunday)! And take a lot of pics in New York. :)
Can you believe it's already August? I saw a disturbing sight on the ride back home today: red leaves. What on Earth! So early, kind of blew my mind. Well, still have half the summer (ish) left, so let's all make the best of it. As in follow Rae's example and have some FUN!
