Unemployment = Fall Cleaning!...also a new backyard :P

Hello everyone!
It's been a while, hold on...it's actually only been like a week. Less than because I posted late last week. Right, well I suppose this has been a busier week than normal (in the good way) so it feels like some stuff has actually happened between my last post and now. How exciting!
Currently I am unemployed. Doesn't that just scream loser? Or like, loner or something equally depressing and abusive? Personally I'm partly glad I'm unemployed right now, mostly because I've never had a job and the thought of a job interview makes my heart race (in the uncomfortable 'oh-my-god-oh-my-god' way...anxiously and stuff) but also because I have so much free time, which means I can do things that there was no way I could tackle during grade 12. AKA fall cleaning! There are about five boxes upstairs in and just outside of my room full of things I don't want anymore...FIVE boxes. Granted only three and a half are full but I'm not even half done. I think I may actually need more boxes. It feels fantastic to clean out my room. I used to have a three shelf bookcase full of books, like there were double rows so I had to pull books out to see what I had behind them but now...well I only have two rows. The whole bottom shelf is empty! It looks so forlorn. The clear solution here is to go out and buy NEW books, AWEsome books and line my newly emptied shelf with them! Seriously, every time I look at the empty shell of a shelf it calls out to me, 'Evie! Evie, please! I need more books, NEW books, AWEsome books!' And i just feel so bad I've got to do something :P Any suggestions for AWEsome books to buy? Lemme know :D
ANYwho, essentially I just feel good when I clean out my room. I feel like my life is less cluttered. Hopefully, by the end of my fall cleaning phase, there will be no more tripping over random shit littered all over my floor cuz I couldn't find a place for it in the jungle that is my room. OH! And I'm getting a new dresser and possibly a new desk! I'm super stoked to go to Ikea and pick them out :D
Now you'll notice if you scroll back up to the top of this post that there is a second part to the title. I'm sure you're wondering, 'but Evie, what is this comment about a new backyard? What is that Evie?' I'll tell you what that is friends, it refers to my NEW, FANTASTICALLY SWEET (and modern looking) back AND front yards!! Yes the rumours are true. I do indeed have a beautiful rock wall in my back garden that swoops gently out to accomodate a modest number of plants that will surely brighten up the back. Also a new back driveway entrance made of rounded stones like uhhh...k, well I can't remember the name exactly right now but I assure you it is some nice-ass stonage. Fer reals. And it's not even finished yet! I know, I can't even believe myself. How can one backyard undergo such a beautiful transformation and not get uppity? It somehow retained it's quiet modesty, probably due to it's VERY small size. And the front yard, woo! Let me tell ya about the front. Being serious for a second here it actually reminds me of my cottage. I'm not gonna lie I think I'm in love with it. It's got small rocks covering the whole thing (no more lawn to mow!!) and then there are some strategically placed bigger rocks set in among those and then my mom has yet to add some hostas (sp? it's basically just a green leafy plant) in around those. I LUV it!
So all of that has been exciting. New back and front yards, cleaning out my room. Oh, just before I move on I will say: it's no fucking picnic waking up at like 7:30 in the morning to the sound of a cement cutting machine thing screaming and you know, the boss guy yelling at his underlings and stuff. I did not sleep well for a good couple of days while they worked. The ONE upside was waking up the first morning being all grumpy and grumbling about noise and fatigue and then lifting up my blinds to find out what the hell was making that noise, only to be greeted by a dozen tanned and muscly backs gleaming with sweat shining up at me...*sigh too bad they were all like...old and stuff :P
Anyway, that was like the majority of my week, minus some get togethers with friends and stuff. Which I absolutely love cuz I hardly see anyone during the summer, 'cept for you Lee! Cuz you're conveniently only 8 blocks away! and you also are...wait are you unemployed? I thought you were. In any case i had a blast this week. And I get to see you guys on SAT NIGHT!! Wooooooo. Cuz I actually haven't seen my peeps in FOEVA. It's a fact.
Till next week!
Evie :D

omgomg ps. I totally forgot, I smoked sheesha (shisha?) for the first time the other day when I went to my friend's place. It was weird but cool :D I feel like kind of a rebel not gonna lie :P I wish I could do smoke rings though. Takes a special talent I'm sure.
pps. Also this post is SOOO long that I decided to include everything in it so that it counts for yesterday's and today's post from me :D that way I can't forget to post today's because I clearly forgot to post yesterday's...(and this way it looks like I meant to do just one! :P)
