HI!
So Thursday night I got home from NYC. The trip was amazing and something that I will never forget. I think that I will sum up each day in a few sentences because my post last week was very detailed and long.
Sunday
After getting up early I got in the car and went to the airport and off we were. Then after arriving and going to the hotel (at 44th between 8th and 9th) we walked the two-ish blocks to time square and went into all the iconic stores and bought a lot of stuff.
Monday
That for me was adventure day. My mom works closely with a guy in NYC so she went and met him and they hung out so I had time downtown to myself. I knew I needed an internet cafe or some kind of internet so that I could post my blog and after walking aimlessly for a while I found a FedEx and for $3 I got all the internet I needed. The most fun I had that day was definitely having no idea where I was and not caring that I had no idea where I was.
Tuesday
We decided to get tour bus passes – they were good for two days (Tuesday and Wednesday). That day we did the downtown tour and the night tour. They were both fun tours to do. As part of the downtown tour we also went to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. The night bus was a lot of fun; I think that big cities look nicest at night.
Wednesday
Using our bus passes again we did the uptown tour. We almost did the whole thing – we got off at the last stop for central park. After getting off we went on a horse drawn carriage ride through the whole park and the only place that we truly stopped and got out was strawberry fields. I mean we went by all the other iconic places but I could not go without seeing the ‘imagine’ mosaic. After that we found our way to FAO Schwarz and Dylan’s Candy Bar we headed back to the hotel (by foot) and got ready to go see our Broadway show – Billy Elliot. It was fantastic!
Thursday
For our final day we spent a lot of time in Macey's then had this amazing pizza made in a wood burning oven. Then we headed to the airport and made in home around 11pm.
The trip was overall everything I wanted it to be.
Now to Miah’s question:
I honestly have no idea what would make up my dream guy. I do know that he would have to be a nerdfighter (if you don’t know what that is then go to www.youtube.com/user/vlogbrothers) and somewhat attractive I have no idea what qualities I would want. Sorry that my answer is kinda lame.
Till next time,
Rae <3
